Proxy Indexes and Databases Information

|Enter your UTPA email Username and Password (also known as Bronc ID) to use these databases. If you are a UTPA student without UTPA email, click here, then click on the User Activation link to activate your email.|
|If you received this or a similar message:
"The username or password is incorrect. Please try again."
Please try the following:
|Log on to the Email Support Web Site and follow these steps. Do not close this window, so you can follow the instructions below. (Please note that the text boxes below are pictures for your reference.)|
|Click on the Change Password link on the left side of the page.|
|Select VMS/Email in the "Please select the authentication source:"
|Enter your username and your current password in the
boxes labeled username and password.
|Enter a password in the "New Password" and "Confirm Password"
fields. Please note that it does not need to be different from
your current password.
|Select the following in the "Change Password On:" section:
VMS/Email, UTPA Domain (Pathworks), LDAP Server (Pipeline), and ORACLE Internet Directory. Also click Hotmail Bronc Account if you have activated your UTPA Hotmail account. Please visit http://emailsupport.utpa.edu/ to learn more about your hotmail account.
|Click Submit and try to access the databases again.|
|If you continue to have password problems, contact the IT Service Desk, call (956-665-2020) or email the Helpdesk at firstname.lastname@example.org.|
