The purpose of the Serials section of The University of
Texas-Pan American Library is to support the goals of the Library and
the mission of the University by:

- ordering, receiving and processing periodicals for the
collection in a timely and cost effective manner
|
- expeditiously and effectively spending the materials
budget
|
- providing available information on the expenditure of
funds to administrators, faculty liaisons, bibliographers, and other
constituencies
|
- complying with all state and University purchasing and
accounting regulations
